Introducing ichnos
Hi!
My name is Atanas and this website is a passion project of mine. I have been looking for a tool to write Byzantine notation for a while and I finally decided to build one myself. As a basis, I used the brilliant open source tool kassia, but I wanted to make it more user-friendly and accessible to a wider audience. You can find more about how to use this website at the Overview page.
Keep it Free
I will strive to keep this website free and unlimited to the best of my abilities. Do try to be light on the servers (e.g. don't try to render large projects after every change). You can track your usage in the top right corner of the page. If you are finding the website useful, you can buy me a coffee. If the server costs can't be met by donations, I may have to set up usage limits for free accounts. In that case, I will notify you in advance.
You can use the Bug Report form at the bottom of the page to report any issues you may find. I will try to fix them as soon as possible.
Commercial Use
Generally, you can use ichnos for commercial use, but it will likely require support. If you have your own developers, I have uploaded both the backend and frontend code on GitHub. I am also happy to provide on-call support for a fee (see the Support page).
